been performed to the entire satisfaction of the Attormy-General who is of opinion that he would make an excellent judge. Sir R.Solomon has been much impressed with the masterly treatment by Mr.Bucknill of the details of his important office".

Major Clauson:- "A very able man, and has great mastery of detail. His advice is always well-reasoned. A very rapid worker. Not at his best in dealing with Elected Lembers. lie engages in repartee with them, wounds their 'amour propre' and does not gain their respect. Has a good deal of private practice, High attainments asan ornitholo- gist. Has a charming wife and is on good terms with other officials".
